ABOUT ANDY
Andy Sheridan grew up in the small town of Washington Court House, Ohio. From the early age of 3 years old, he showed an interest in music. Coming from two musical parents who were both musically involved in the church and the community, Andy was surrounded by music. He started taking classical piano lessons at 5 years old then picked up his mom's old guitar in junior high school. Around 12 he picked up brass instruments. Almost all of them. He played a different instrument each year for 4 years in high school. From then until high school graduation, he was involved in church music, jazz band, marching band, pep band, singing in choirs and musicals; and by the time he graduated, he was already a "well rounded" musician. After spending a year in Kentucky where he met his (eventual) beautiful wife, he moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University where as a piano major and audio engineering minor, he quickly gained attention from other artists and engineers as a standout in both areas. He excelled in his engineering classes while at the same time being challenged by some of the best piano professors in the country. He grew as a musician as well as an engineer and producer. Spending countless hours in his dorm room practicing programing on Pro Tools, and also writing and practicing new styles of music, he quickly gained traction and continued to meet more influential people. After only a year and a half at Belmont, he went on the road with country artist, Phil Vassar as full-time keyboardist for 4 years. He spent 5 years as the full time band leader, keyboardist/acoustic guitar player for Hunter Hayes and most recently did 2 tours with Ben Rector in the same capacity. He has had the opportunity of performing with well-known artist such as the legendary Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Jason Mraz, Ashley Monroe and Patrick Monahan from Train. He has also shared the stage with Jennifer Neetles from SugarLand, Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown, Will Hoge, Danielle Bradbery, Chris Janson, Will Hoge, Cole Swindell, Eric Paslay, Dan + Shay, Charile Worsham and countless more! Andy is signed to Major Bob Music and writes and produces full time.
Andy has been a regular down on music row working in almost every major studio in Nashville on almost every style of music. He is versatile and capable of meeting any musical need you could have.
A Note From Andy: "I have to thank my wonderful wife Melissa for putting up with my long hours, loud music and weird sleep cycles. I have to thank my amazing parents Jeff and Anita for making me stick with piano lessons when I was young. I hated it then, but I'm so thankful now. And thank you foremost to God. Without Him, you wouldn't even be able to read this right now." And I am also very thankful to be a dad! I love spending time with my little boy Jett and my daughter Chandler!
